- Marriage: She married Walter Stewart, the hereditary High Steward of Scotland.
- Pregnancy: While heavily pregnant, Marjorie fell from her horse in Gallowhill, Paisley, Renfrewshire on March 2, 1316. She went into premature labor and gave birth to her son, Robert, at Paisley Abbey. She died a few hours later at the age of around 20.
- Son: Her son, Robert, became the future King Robert II and founded the Stewart dynasty.
- Tomb: The tomb of Marjorie Bruce is located in Paisley Abbey. However, some say that the effigy on top of the tomb is not of Marjorie, but rather of a nameless woman buried in the abbey grounds. The tomb itself has been opened and found to contain no human remains.
